MedComNet 2023 will host a session of open oral presentations primarily intended for PhD students and young researchers who will have the possibility of informally presenting the recent results of their research. The aim of this session is to enable participants to receive feedback on their work and ideas in an informal but very fertile environment such as the one of MedComNet, besides attending the main conference.
Presentations can focus on any topic in the area of wired and wireless networking.
Please submit a title and a short abstract of your proposed presentation by May 5, 2023. at the EDAS web page without submitting a paper, and indicating as author the intended speaker. Presentation proposals of senior researchers are also welcome, but are expected to have a tutorial flavor. Submissions should use the same link as above. In this case the title should start with the keyword “Tutorial: …”. The conference organizing committee will select presentations by considering the logistic constraints as well as the relevance of the topic and the order of submission of proposals, without following any strict peer-review process. For the same reason, such talks will not be included in the proceedings.
Young researchers who will present in this session (and do not present a paper in other MedComNet 2023 sessions) will be offered a minimal conference registration fee and will be admitted to all conference events. Please note that the submission of such an abstract indicates the willingness of the author to participate in the conference in-presence and to register at the special, minimal conference fee.
